Xiaomi delivered the 2025 Lei Jun Annual Speech and officially unveiled the new Xiaomi 17 series along with the Xiaomi Pad 8 series and a range of new home appliances at its annual flagship event at the Beijing National Convention Center. In his sixth annual keynote speech titled "Change", Lei Jun highlighted Xiaomi's efforts and determination to push forward its "Human × Car × Home" smart ecosystem. The new Xiaomi 17 series consists of three models - Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The Xiaomi 17, a compact 6.3-inch flagship model, debuts with the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, a 7000mAh Xiaomi Surge battery and a Leica Summilux imaging system. In addition, both the 6.3-inch Xiaomi 17 Pro and the 6.9-inch Xiaomi 17 Pro Max are equipped with a revolutionary Dynamic Back Display, next-generation LOFIC High Dynamic technology and a 5x optical zoom lens.

The Xiaomi 17 combines a refined 6.3-inch compact design with flagship capabilities. It has a slim body of only 191g and 8.06mm thickness, providing an ergonomic grip.
