Founded in 2010, the company has changed the technology landscape in a very short time by challenging the largest manufacturers with an extreme pricing strategy. Xiaomi has officially stated that it will never charge a higher profit margin than 5% for the sale of hardware.
Through the above strategy, Xiaomi became a success on the Hong Kong stock exchangewhen the company was listed in July 2018 and is thus the youngest company on the Fortune Global 500 list.
In addition to some of the world's best-selling smartphones, the world's best-selling electric scooter and the world's best-selling activity wristband, the Mi Smart Band, Xiaomi has an impressively broad product portfolio, ranging from product groups such as kitchen utensils, air purifiers, smart homes and not forgetting app-controlled deep fryers and kettles. It's almost easier to list what Xiaomi doesn't sell. The range for the Swedish market is growing steadily month after month.
